nice shot. I love the contrast, really makes the red pop. The lighting really accentuates its texture and shape. I love that.

Sometimes it is all for me also. Nature is so ontological...that's what I woke up thinking this morning, about ontology and its current almost non-existence. And this picture is very ontological--wholey itself and nothing more. What we strive for, and can't find.

It reminds me very much of an old Irish song called "The Last Rose of Summer." I must admire her for hanging on until her last ounce of strength is exausted, all alone, simply because she knows that she is supposed to. Wonderful shot. Very touching.

Beautiful Nate, I'm most intrigued by the title and description.

She's absolutely beautiful, I find it interesting that she's so obviously feminine.
